OXFORD – Other subject can be Biology, Physics, Maths or Further Maths. May want to avoid applying here without Biology as the interviews have scientific content so might be harder to do well.
BRISTOL – Other subject can be Biology, Physics, Maths or Further Maths.
LIVERPOOL – Other subject can be Biology, Physics or Maths.
In Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
EDINBURGH – Other subject can be Biology/Human Biology, Maths/Further Maths or Physics. Please note that applying to Edinburgh as a non-Scottish student has much higher requirements in terms of UCAT and predicted grades and it is unclear whether you would be looked at unfavourably for not having Biology.
QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY BELFAST – Other subject can be Biology/Human Biology, Physics or Maths.
ST. ANDREWS – Other subject can be Biology, Maths or Physics.
Requires Chemistry or Biology, plus another science or maths related subject:
SHEFFIELD – Second science subjects include Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics or Psychology.
UNIVERSITY OF EAST ANGLIA – Two ‘further’ A level subjects needed after Chemistry or Biology.
LEICESTER – Second subject to include one of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths or Psychology.
KEELE – Second designated subject from Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Maths/Further Maths/Statistics, Physics.
LANCASTER – Needs any two subjects out of Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. i.e. if no Biology needs Chemistry AND Psychology
SUNDERLAND – Second designated science subject to be from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths/Further Maths/Statistics.
